United Center (The UC, The Madhouse on Madison) is an indoor arena on the Near West Side of Chicago, Illinois, United States. It is home to the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL). It is named after its corporate sponsor, United Airlines, which is based in Chicago, since 2007, and also has a hub at O'Hare International Airport, also located in Chicago. With a capacity of nearly 21,000, the United Center is the largest arena by capacity in the National Basketball Association, and the largest arena by capacity in the United States in the National Hockey League.
Opened in 1994, the United Center replaced the Chicago Stadium, it's now demolished, predecessor. The first event held at the United Center was WWF Summerslam. Due to the lockout, the Chicago Blackhawks did not move in until January 1995. In 1996, the United Center hosted the 1996 Democratic National Convention, where it first introduced a new style four-screen speech prompting system for speakers consisting of two glass teleprompters, accompanied by an inset lectern monitor, and for the first time, a large under-camera confidence monitor.
The arena is home to an iconic statue of Michael Jordan built in 1994. Originally located outside the arena, it now stands inside an atrium which was added in 2017. (Thanks Wikipedia!)

As a truck driver, there are some habits that you stick with. Some of them develop
naturally with experience while others are learned. Good truck driving habits keep you
happy at your job and safe on the road. Giving a deliberate thought to your behaviors as
a truck driver means that you will be constantly picking what is helpful at your job. Here
are the 7 habits key among great truck drivers.
Truck Driver’s Habits
Driving for long takes a toll on your health. This is especially noticeable when you don’t take time off to exercise or do a different task every so often. Taking a break and working on your physical and mental health helps you to be more prepared to perform your duties on the road
On the contrary, when daily work routine gets too much into you, fatigue slowly creeps in, stress could also come your way you and might become irritated with work. In these conditions you are prone to road accidents and flare-ups with fellow drivers on the road. A good personal morning routine goes a long way preparing for the workday and keeps you healthy.
2.Focus on the task while driving
It is easy to get distracted when driving. Focusing on the task means you shouldn’t be picking up phone calls while driving and also you shouldn’t get carried away by other drivers behavior and activities.
3.Planning well your journey and Sticking to the plan.
Planning your trip with the stops and time you need to spend gives you a clear picture of the whole trip in advance. Planning though is only half the job, sticking with your schedule is the other part. When you keep the original plan with precision, you will look more trustworthy to your colleagues and customers.
4.Studying weather conditions
Knowing current and predicted weather conditions helps you to choose safer routes, gives you a better prospective on your arrival time and even what clothes to wear. Great truck drivers develop a habit of familiarizing themselves with the weather conditions in advance so they are not caught off guard by the changes along the way. As an example, you don’t want to be caught in a rain on a slippery road when a different time or routes could have given you better weather to drive in.
As a truck driver, you want to keep improving your driving and truck handling skills. New technology means your job could be a lot easier. Think about it, trends are constantly shifting. There was a time the map was your guide, then the GPS and now google voice navigation is with us. A good truck driver will keep up with the current technology.
6.Observing road signs
Keeping an eye on road signs ensures your and another people safety. It is important to be attentive to details, while driving and observing changing scenery. Sometimes your attention my be distracted quite easily, therefore indications such as speed bumps or road signs are here for your help. Keep your focus on the road, and it will be a safer trip to everyone on the road.
7.Pre Trip Inspection
Sometimes forgotten, but same importance as other habits is Pre -Trip Inspection. Your truck is somewhat reflection of you, therefore routine inspections should be completed. They usually take up to 20-40 minutes of your time, but having a documented inspection covered is way more efficient to complete a seamless trip without any unplanned expenses and most importantly saving time and money.
Wrapping it up
With these habits, or a combination of some of them, your experience on the road will be more fun and your work will be less stressful. You will gain are more profitable working relationships with colleagues and customers

To become a Truck Driver is not as hard as you think. Not like the most companies here, at DMN Transport, we define people based on their ambition to become our family members. Delivery numbers are rising, so OTR drivers are in need to drive for DMN Transport. So what does it take to become a professional truck driver for DMN Transport?
Personal requirements
A good routine is definitely a huge advantage. In order to be an OTR driver, you should be able to implement your own style of working, as it is not like working in the office – daily supervisions are quite unusual practice here at DMN Transport.
The main requirement is a CDL CLASS A License. It is a government requirement as a starting point for becoming a truck driver. You will need to register in a driving school and complete the training. Afterward, written and driving tests including a pre -trip inspection test will be your main objective when receiving a Truck Driving license.
Medical Fitness
Another area to be prepared is medical certification. It is worthwhile to note that you will be taking a job that needs concentration, good vision, good hearing, and also great reaction. Driving any truck is a huge responsibility in its own way, so a healthy driver is a primary checkbox. This job calls for medical fitness not only for your own but everyone else’s well-being.
Good Driving record
Right from the onset, you will want to maintain a good driving record in your career. Your employer or customers will not keep you for long if you are always delaying with unrealistic excuses. Every company will do a personal driving background check before hiring. Keep it as a note while driving!
As a truck driver, you will be involved in planning your trips, driving long distances and making critical decisions such as the best routes to choose, and dealing with road emergencies if they arise. We suggest planning these types of solutions in advance to have the driving experience as smooth as possible.
Final Thoughts
Here at DMN Transport, you may participate in coming up with in making decision of your schedule and route. This calls for your input in planning. And afterall, it is a great and rewarding career that opens opportunities to meet new people along the way.

A collection of textile samples lay spread out on the table – Samsa was a travelling salesman – and above it there hung a picture that he had recently cut out of an illustrated magazine and housed in a nice, gilded frame. It showed a lady fitted out with a fur hat and fur boa who sat upright, raising a heavy fur muff that covered the whole of her lower arm towards the viewer. Gregor then turned to look out the window at the dull weather. Pitifully thin compared with the size of the rest of him, waved about helplessly as he looked. “What’s happened to me?” he thought. It wasn’t a dream. His room, a proper human room although a little too small, lay peacefully between its four familiar walls
